African Hoodia Cactus

African Hoodia Cactus

The African Hoodia cactus plant is also known as Hoodia Gordonii. It is used to make diet pills and Hoodia tea. The first use of Hoodia Gordonii appetite suppressants were by people who chewed the cactus while walking on long travels.

The Hoodia plant takes 5 years to mature and it is form the family of Apocynaceae. In South Africa the plants are very commonly used by local people as appetite suppressants.

Recently people have started using Hoodia in diet pills. Research for Hoodia is still undergoing by various scientific institutes and millions of dollars are being spent on this research.

The African Hoodia cactus is known to suppress hunger. Synthetic or artificial hunger control agents are not present in pure Hoodia diet pills, as Hoodia is 100% organic. There are very few side effects of taking pure Hoodia.

Hoodia is thought to help you to stop thinking about food as it contains a molecule that fools the brain into believing that you had eaten a meal.

Possible side effects of taking Hoodia. Follow label directions. Hodia Gordonii side effects from taking too much may include nervousness, bulging eyes, rapid heartbeat, diarrhea, excessive sweating and dehydration.

There are many strong claims being made in advertisements for hoodia. Can you believe everything you hear? As with all diet products, keep in mind that advertising is often exaggerated and that success stories are usually not typical results but instead represent special cases. Your results will always vary. Before taking Hoodia Gordoni appetite suppressants, consult your doctor, physician or a licensed health care professional.

Where to buy pure Hoodia. Hoodia Gordonii appetite suppressants are sold online and in local stores. Look for 100% pure Hoodia, from the actual source in Africa, and compare prices and quantities of servings per bottle.

One problem is "fake" hoodia. There are plants being grown in unusual places that are not native habitat of the plant. There is a question to the effectiveness of these cultivated plants versus the naturally wild plants harvested in the actual country of origin. If it was not grown in Africa, then it is not authentic Africa hoodia cactus is it? In other cases, some hoodia is added to an existing diet supplement and the word Hoodia is made very large on the label to give the impression there is a lot of that ingredient inside the product. However there may only be a small amount included.

Something we have found to help us feel more energetic and less hungry is a health food that athletes have used for many years... natural bee pollen in capsules. The kind we use is a special type and in our opinion it is more helpful than the hoodia cactus that we have tried.
